論文中文摘要:Corporate governance failures have emphasized the importance of enterprise risk management (ERM). Managing risk is a fundamental concern in today’s dynamic global environment. There is little research on factors associated with the implementation of ERM in Mongolia. Research is needed to provide insights as to why some organizations are responding to changing risk profiles by embracing ERM and others are not. The purpose of this study is to measure the extent to which specific firms have implemented ERM and to examine factors associated with the stage of ERM implementation at a variety of organizations in Republic of Mongolia.
The data were collected on experienced top management teams from different type of enterprises in a Capital city Ulaanbaatar Republic of Mongolia. Based on data 195 valid questionnaire responses were received out of 200. This study finds the stage of implementation and development of ERM processes in Mongolia and we found ERM implementation shows positively related to the presence of a Big four audit firms, CEO and CFO apparent support for ERM.
