論文中文摘要:數位電視 (Internet Protocol Television, IPTV) 利用網際網路傳送多媒體至終端平台,除了直接透過網路方式接收資料,可以自由選擇頻道付費購買,傳送品質也較以往傳統內容優良,受到不少關注。數位內容會經由網路傳送至機上盒 (Set-top Box) 運行,利用即時串流形式輸出至顯示器。目前多數的機上盒僅負責記錄頻道資訊與各節目播出之時間,轉台時必須重新接收串流。若在同一時段有多個欲收看的頻道,受到資料緩存影響,切換時無法如傳統電視 (Cable TV) 般來得快速,操作體驗仍有改善空間。許多頻道之節目並非現場即時轉播,收看的過程並沒有直接的互動。本研究將針對頻道的切換行為加以探討,在同一時間有多個想收看的頻道,可以於背景預先接收資料,並且減少轉台時間帶來的延遲。
論文英文摘要:Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) transfers multi-media contents to clients via internet connection. We can receive information from the internet platform, and pay for channels on demand. Contents may transfer to set-top box (STB) and display to monitors, but most of STBs only record information and start / end time for each channel. If there are some interests contents in a period time, frequent channel switching may cause wasted of bandwidth and lower quality of experience (QoE). In this paper, we will create a method to receive multi channel contents in background due to some features of programs and users’ behaviors. The method may reduce the zapping time while switching channel in a period time and the contents are stored in the memory.
